Howard Richler
As a child, Howard could often be found furtively reading a dictionary. When word nerdiness became more acceptable, he began to share his fascination, and to date he has written seven books on a variety of language themes.
Howard's books include:

- A Bawdy Language: How a Second-Rate Language Slept Its Way to the Top

His most recent book is titled From Happy to Homosexual, and Other Mysterious Semantic Shifts in which he examines how words change meanings.
Howard lives with his partner Carol and their wheaten terrier Molly. He has two kids Jeremy and Jennifer, and two grandkids Judah and near palindrome Maya.
